Club of Agencies
The 42nd meeting of the “Club of Agencies” was held in Prague October 26-27
Representatives of the European Commission and agencies responsible for managing radioactive waste met this year for their annual meeting in the capital of the Czech Republic.
The 20 participants were brought up to date on the latest developments from the various countries represented and European Commission views regarding radioactive waste management were discussed. An overview of the new draft of the 7th Frame Programme was presented and debated as were the results of ongoing research in the field.
On Friday participants visited the Richard repository where several Phare projects are underway co-financed by the European Commission.
